Timbre Collective Product Photos

Photos from product shoot I did for the Timbre Collective's pedal boards. I really great idea and product these fellows are offering for musicians. I highly suggest if your in the music scene you check these products out.

Thanks to the fellows at Timbre Collective once again, and I look forward to making more images in the future with them. Check out their website here, if this product interests you.

Artist Head Shots

This is a collection of low key head shots I did for NBCCD for the production of artist bio cards. It features a group of select Ceramics and Metals students. Not much to say about the technics, I used a three light setup, one main soft box, an upward directional light and a downward hair light attached to the ceiling. I used a modified version of this setup with an extra light to do a documentation shoot of some textiles work, which will be my next update.

The images may be better presented in black and white, but I'm leaving that choice to the graphic designers making the cards.

A Low Key Portrait and Simple Graphics

This is from a recent job I did for the college. The request was for a artist bio card, so I did a quick portrait of the subject, Melissa LeBlanc,  on the black background to mimic the look of the example I was given. Then I did a quick graphic layout for the card and added the text and then printed them on card stock and cut them into individual pieces. This is something that I'm glad I have a small graphics background for, it really helps in this business to know how to do simple things like this.

Especially on tight deadlines.
